Locates in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, Interlaken lies between two lakes- Lake Thun (Thunersee) and Lake Brienz (Brienzersee) which is reflected in its name (“inter-laken “means “between lakes”).

The town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Swiss Alps and is often referred to as the country’s adventure tourism capital.

Interlaken is especially attractive for nature lovers. From here, you can admire the views of Switzerland’s three most famous peaks-Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau.
