Competition “Discover What Is Yours”

  154

On April 17, 2026, the award ceremony of the joint educational competition “Discover What Is Yours,” organized by Georgian National University SEU and the tourism company Discover Georgia, was held. The initiative brought together young people from across the country and once again highlighted their strong interest in Georgia’s cultural heritage and tourism potential.

Up to 200 students from various regions of Georgia participated in the competition, representing more than 90 public and private schools. The project covered almost all regions of the country—both urban and rural areas—further emphasizing its scale and significance.

As part of the competition, participants created one-day tour concepts in various destinations, including cultural, historical, adventure, eco, and educational tourism. Each project was evaluated by a jury based on 12 pre-defined criteria, resulting in the selection of 14 winners.

The winning students were awarded prizes, while all participants and schools received certificates and gifts. In the “SEU Discovery” nomination, the winner was Anna Gogokhia (Rustavi Public School No. 3), who received a cash prize. Discover Georgia selected its special winner, Lizi Keshelava (Kokhnari Public School), who was awarded a voucher for a tourism training center.
